At our recent teacher in-service training event, Castle Montessori Schools teamed up with Shelton School and Evaluation Center to deliver cutting-edge instructional training to it’s staff to further their dedication in making a difference in the lives of students who learn differently. We would like to specially thank Dr. Joyce Pickering for her commitment to empowering students with learning differences and delivering a wonderful training session for our staff. Dr. Joyce S. Pickering is a 40-year Montessorian, speech and hearing pathologist, and learning disabilities specialist who has devoted her life to addressing the needs of students with learning differences. Currently, Dr. Joyce is Executive Director Emerita of Shelton School & Evaluation Center in Dallas, Texas, the world’s largest private school for children with learning differences.
