Castle Montessori Schools are seeking Montessori Toddler Teachers (1.5 to 3 year olds)  , Primary Teachers (3 to 6 year olds)  and Elementary Teachers (6 to 9 year olds) for the 2019/2020 academic school year beginning June, 2019. We are looking for experienced Lead Montessori teachers who have a true passion for working with young children and the interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with their peers.  The Montessori Teachers must be qualified, enthusiastic, nurturing and loving individuals.

A Montessori Teacher creates, manages and participates in a variety of learning environments and activities that provide opportunities for students to develop to their fullest potential and achieve their learning objectives. They participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school, and collective/individual interest of its staff and student body. The Montessori teachers will provide and maintain a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate program in accordance to all relevant child care policies, procedures and state regulations.


  • Must have a Montessori Teacher Certification (AMS, AMI, MACTE, NAMC)
  • Must have at least three years full time teaching experience with a group of children
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must have a warm supportive, and patient attitude and disposition toward working with children and their families
  • Must be kind, thoughtful and strong at guiding children in a self-motivated learning environment and helping stimulate their natural desire to learn
  • The Lead Teacher will plan and conduct daily activities for the program in the classroom and outdoors
  • The Lead Teacher will maintain an environment that promotes optimal growth and development of the children
  • The Lead Teacher will help the children think creatively, to solve problems independently and respect themselves and others
  • The Lead Teacher will maintain an attractive, well kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence
  • The Lead Teacher will set classroom expectations for students, parents and assistant teacher
  • The Lead Teacher will maintain accurate and timely educational assessments and progress portfolios for all students assigned.
