We have an extraordinary opportunity for a visionary leader committed to academic excellence as well as continuous improvement to join our award-winning, nationally televised portfolio of schools.  Qualified candidates would possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or related field, with Montessori certification being preferential, but not mandatory. A person with a broad, working knowledge of the Montessori philosophy and approach to educating children would be strongly considered. Significant accomplishment as a multi- tasking school administrator would be a precursor for consideration.

Additional Qualifications: The successful candidate will be an energetic, enthusiastic administrator or educator who:

• 1. Has the ability to promote the school’s growth by increasing enrollment levels (i.e. sales oriented).
  2. Has a customer-centric focus and business acumen.
  3. Has a strong commitment to classical Montessori education and philosophy
  4. Has a track record of successful relationship building and a willingness to serve as the school’s leader.
  5. Can establish and foster relationships with parents and staff.
  6. Has financial acumen. Understands the effect of operational decisions upon the school’s bottom line.
  7. Has strong operations management and risk management abilities.
  8. Employs a decision making style that is both inclusive and confident.
  9. Can partner effectively with the school’s owners to lead the school forward.
  10. Is a confident, effective and comfortable communicator.
  11. Recognizes the importance of listening to the parents and embraces notion of partnering with parents in their child’s education.
  12. Is accessible, visible, and will joyfully connect with the students and adults in the Castle Montessori community.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated an ability to strengthen or build programs in a school setting through effective leadership. A Montessori diploma is preferred but not required.  Castle Montessori is an educational community that values relationships. The successful candidate will be an individual who has the inter-personal skills and commitment to valuing and fostering the strong, supportive and caring community that characterizes Castle Montessori.

Ability to drive a 14-passenger childcare bus is a plus.

Hours are 8:00am to 6:00pm weekdays with a 1 hour lunch break daily.
